What is water treatment

Water treatment refers to the physical and chemical measures taken to make the water quality reach a certain standard of use.

Purpose of water treatment

The purpose of water treatment is to improve water quality and make it reach a certain water quality standard. According to the different treatment methods, there are many kinds of physical water treatment, chemical water treatment, biological water treatment and so on. According to different treatment objects or purposes, there are two main categories: water supply treatment and wastewater treatment.

Water supply treatment includes two types: domestic drinking water treatment and industrial water treatment; waste water treatment is divided into domestic sewage treatment and industrial waste water treatment. Water treatment is of great significance to the development of industrial production, the improvement of product quality, the protection of the human environment, and the maintenance of ecological balance.

If you now visit our SHEENSTAR factory you will see a lot of machines in production, as well as several filling production lines that have been commissioned and ready to be shipped. The above photo shows one set of 18T water treatment system, it is made of high-quality stainless steel and equipped with independent control system. All electrical components are from world-famous brands, the quality is guaranteed and after-sales are worry-free.

This water treatment system is also equipped with an ozone system and a breathing filter, which can filter out all the germs and dust in the air to ensure sterility. The whole water treatment system includes quartz sand filtration, activated carbon filtration, precision filtration, reverse osmosis system, backwash system, ozone system and pump, etc.

Principles of water treatment methods

1. Activated carbon adsorption method

Activated carbon is carbonized by carbonization of wood, wood residue, fruit core, coconut shell, coal or petroleum bottom residue at high temperature, and it needs to be activated with hot air or water vapor after it is made. Its main function is to remove chlorine and chloramines and other dissolved organic substances with a molecular weight of 60 to 300 Daltons.

The factors that affect the ability of activated carbon to remove organic matter include the area of activated carbon itself, the size of the pores, and the molecular weight and polarity of the removed organic matter. It mainly relies on physical adsorption capacity to remove impurities. Impurities will fall down and pollute the downstream water quality, so it is necessary to regularly use the method of thrust to remove the adsorbed impurities.

2. Reverse osmosis

The reverse osmosis method can effectively remove inorganic substances, organic substances, bacteria, pyrogens and other particles dissolved in water, and is the most important part of the treatment of dialysis water.

The commissioning of the reverse osmosis system is particularly important. We can grasp it from the following aspects:

1. Operating conditions

2. Preparation before operation

3. Test run
